Happy Thanksgiving...

I love Thanksgiving!

I have so many things to be thankful for but this year my thinking was a bit different to years past. Of course I am thankful for the obvious, God's neverending love, my amazing husband, my beautiful kids, all of our health, our home and business....but I think this year, more than any other I have been so thankful for the hope we have as followers of Jesus, that even if everything would crumble around us we still have the hope that Jesus offers and a God that loves us and will take care of us. I am so thankful!

I love this time of year homeschooling...there are so many fun things to focus on and learn about, and it's a time of year the kids thoroughly enjoy! They LOVE thanksgiving and all that it holds!

Tennis clinics...

Jude, Zoe and Myles have all been part of the new tennis clinics that Ben started in November. And they have loved every minute of it...
I love Judes backhand..it is pretty impressive! He is so much like his father, in more ways than one...I wonder if tennis will be something he always loves!
The clinics are for kids ages 3-7 so if you are interested be in touch! It is a great introduction to tennis and super fun as well!

Just like his brother...

Anyone who knew Jude when he was little, actually until he was about 4, knows how much he loved his bunny! Jude would suck on the bunny's ears until they smelled so bad...I had to wash the thing everyday and decided that we needed two in our house so I could swap them while trying to keep the smell under control! (This is Jude around 16 months!)
Now that Jude doesn't sleep with his bunny I've tucked it away in his special box, only bringing it out when he wants to see the infamous bunny we talk about. But the second bunny has now been taken by another...we were amazed that Cooper was always picking this guy out of the bunch and now needs it to sleep!

Day of exploring and enjoying the outdoors...

Each fall the kids and I really look forward to a day that has kinda become a tradition. We spend a morning at my friend Kara's mom's house (along with another good friend Janelle and her kids), exploring their amazing property, hiking, and generally enjoying the outdoors! And we end it all with cookies, chocolate milk, and applecider!

Thank you so much Sheryl and Kara..it really is a day that we all look forward to. Already can't wait for next year!

Oh the pity party...

This boy can pull some faces when he wants a bit of attention! What an absolute love!
